Lively and spirited; the Chinese Crested is a versatile companion and a a wonderful and unique breed.
Cresteds are an excellent choice whether your event is conformation shows or agility, or tracking .
They have also been known to excel in lure coursing, and have done well in obedience and even tracking.
Unlike many of the toy group, the Crested is a not a yapper - but be aware that some bark more than others!
They form strong attachments to their family. Some can be cautious with people they do not know
and can be rather aloof in their manner- this however should not be confused with timidity or aggression.
Cresteds are a true companion dog, thriving on human touch and companionship.
This is not a breed suitable to be left alone.
Clownish and animated, this little dog delights in being with their owners,
whether mountain trekking, playing a game of ball or watching TV.
Cresteds are indeed pack animals and love the company of one another.
There is also something to be said about seeing them in an open field running running just for the sheer joy of it!
Their balance is extraordinary - and they enjoy standing on their hind legs.
They also have exceptional feet, anH:\CC_nakedpup\about\personality.html unique feature enables them to grab and hold things, and makes them quite capable climbers.
The Chinese Crested is particularly fond of fresh fruits and raw vegetables.
Our dogs' favorites are blue berries and green beans.
