The hairless needs regular skin care, including bathing.
It is important to use lotion to keep the skin from becoming dry. All skintones darken with sunbathing- but protect them from burning! Suntan lotion should also be used to protect the skin when outdoors.
Most hairless need stray hairs removed prior to showing. The amount of shaving required varies considerable though.
The crested enjoys a romp outside, but it hates the cold. Hairless varieties will need clothes for cold-weather outings.
Coat care for the powder-puff variety entails brushing every day or two.
